ISO1412DWR

ISO1412DWR is an excellent isolation interface IC with many excellent features. It is compatible with TIA/EIA-485-A standard and PROFIBUS protocol, supports 5V bus power supply, and provides strong bus I/O protection capabilities against up to ±30 kV HBM and other electric shocks and disturbances. In addition, ISO1412DWR supports multiple data rates and has low EMI characteristics to maintain communication quality during high-speed data transmission. It operates over a wide supply voltage range, features fail-safe receivers, supports multi-node configurations, has high common-mode transfer immunity, operates over a wide temperature range, and enables trouble-free hot swapping. Additionally, its packaging format is compatible with most isolated RS-485 transceivers, providing flexibility and reliability for a variety of designs.

The ISO1412 devices are galvanically-isolated differential line transceivers for TIA/EIA RS-485 and RS-422 applications. These noise-immune transceivers are designed to operate in harsh industrial environments. The bus pins of these devices can endure high levels of IEC electrostatic discharge (ESD) and IEC electrical fast transient (EFT) events which eliminates the need for additional components on bus for system-level protection.
