ISO1410DWR is an excellent isolation interface IC with many powerful functions. It is compatible with the TIA/EIA-485-A standard, supports the PROFIBUS protocol, and provides excellent bus I/O protection against various electrical interferences. The isolated interface IC also features low EMI, supports multiple data rates, adapts to a wide voltage supply range, and has a built-in fail-safe receiver to support multi-node connections. It also features high common-mode interference immunity, wide temperature range, trouble-free power startup and shutdown, and is packaged in a wide-body SOIC-16 for easy installation and maintenance, while being compatible with most isolated RS-485 transceivers.

Description:

 

The ISO1410 devices are galvanically-isolated differential line transceivers for TIA/EIA RS-485 and RS-422 applications. These noise-immune transceivers are designed to operate in harsh industrial environments. The bus pins of these devices can endure high levels of IEC electrostatic discharge (ESD) and IEC electrical fast transient (EFT) events which eliminates the need for additional components on bus for system-level protection. The devices are available for both basic and reinforced isolation (see Reinforced and Basic Isolation Options).
