The TLP701(TP,F) optocoupler gate driver is a high-performance device with key features that make it a reliable choice for a variety of power semiconductor applications. Accuracy and efficiency are ensured over a wide range of operating conditions with a peak output current of ±0.6 A, guaranteed performance over a wide temperature range (-40 to 100°C), and a low supply current of 2 mA. A wide supply voltage range (10 to 30 V) and low threshold input current (IFLH = 5 mA) enhance flexibility and compatibility. In addition, fast switching time of 700 ns, strong common-mode transient immunity of ±10 kV/μs, and high isolation voltage of 5000 Vrms help reduce switching losses, improve system efficiency, and enhance safety in harsh environments.

General：
TLP701 consists of an infrared LED and an integrated photodetector.
This unit is 6-lead SDIP package. The TLP701 is 50% smaller than the 8-pin DIP and meets the reinforced insulation class requirements of international safety standards. Therefore the mounting area can be reduced in equipment requiring safety standard certification.
The TLP701 is suitable for gate driving circuits for IGBTs or power MOSFETs. In particular, the TLP701 is capable of "direct" gate driving of low-power IGBTs.
